Items for SEPTEMBER 2025 – LCOR and LCS
Thank you all for your prayers. Let us continue to be one in prayer for our congregations as well as for the LCS, under which we are one church.
Please cover LCOR and LCS in the Prayers of the Church, as well as in your Prayer Meetings and small group meetings. Do encourage your members to pray for them during their family or personal prayer times.
Pastors have the option to cover the items summarily, in a single Sunday or over any number of Sundays for the month. Pastors should also feel free to contact each other for more details and clarifications regarding the items listed, so as to pray with better understanding.

Prayer pointers for LCOR
- Pray for Ps Jimmy and Ps Nick teaching in Mongolia from Sept 5 to 16.
- Pray for Stewardship Sunday on 14 Sept that the members will be moved to serve the Lord with the gifts and talents that the Lord has given them.
- Pray for the Seminar on Leadership organised by the Women’s fellowship under the Education Committee to be held in Redeemer on 13 Sept.
- Pray for the Outreach ministry to the Boy’s Brigade at Swiss Cottage, Furen International School and the Nurses outreach, that God will open their hearts to receive the Lord.
- Pray for the Tamil Service that it will continue to grow in the Lord and that the Lord will bring in more members.
- Pray for the Chinese core group members as they lead the various ministries.
- Pray for leadership renewal as the present leadership prepares to make way for a new generation of leaders.
- Pray for the children in Green Pastures and their families as they come to attend the Chinese service on 5 October, that they will hear the Gospel, and that the people would receive them warmly.
- Pray for the newly-formed choir group in the Chinese service, that they will fall in love with singing, and inspire the congregation to sing to each other and to the Lord.

- 为外展事工祷告，包括在瑞士村中学的少年军、辅仁国际学校，以及护士外展，求神开启他们的心，能够接受主。
- 为淡米尔语聚会祷告，求主使他们在主里继续成长，并带领更多的新朋友加入。
- 为华文部核心小组成员祷告，愿主赐他们智慧与力量，带领各样的事工。
- 为领导层的更新祷告，求主预备并兴起新一代的领袖，承接事奉的使命。
- 为 10 月 5 日前来参加华文聚会的青牧园孩子及他们的家人祷告，愿他们听见福音，并蒙弟兄姊妹热情接待。
- 为华文聚会新成立的诗班祷告，愿他们爱上歌唱，并激励会众彼此歌唱、向主歌唱.
Prayer Pointers for LCS
I. Thanksgiving:
a) Those who received Christ through our LCS Chinese Outreach (Chinese) in the month of August.
b) Those who renewed their lives through His Word and the testimonies of life.
II. LCS Prayer Life:
‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.
— Isaiah 56: 7,Mark 11:17,Matt 21:13,Luke 19:46
a) Personal Life of members
• A heart that hungers and thirsts after God through active communication with Him.
• A heart that constantly dwells in, and is aware of, His Presence.
b) Congregations: Pastors, Councilmen, Cell Group Leaders, and Committee Members
• A heart that seeks His will and His direction through prayer.
• A heart that is filled with joy in doing His will, with total dependence on Him.
III. Wisdom from Above in Strategic Planning Ahead
a) God’s vision to rest upon pastors and representatives from the various congregations serving in the LCS committees.
b) God’s favour to rest upon the leadership of LCS as they look ahead.
c) The fear of the Lord to be upon our hearts, leading us to serve with humility and servant hearts.
IV. Growing in the Fruit and Gifts of the Spirit
a) For the Holy Spirit to empower us to live a Christ-like life today despite challenges.
b) For the Holy Spirit to transform us to live according to His Word.
c) For the Holy Spirit to help us grow and develop spiritual gifts to serve Him effectively.

I. 感恩：
a) 在八月份通过 LCS 中文外展事工而接受基督的人。
b) 那些因着祂的话语和生命的见证而更新生命的人。
II. LCS 的祷告生活：
「我的殿必称为万民祷告的殿。」
—— 以赛亚书 56:7，马可福音 11:17，马太福音 21:13，路加福音 19:46
祷告事项：
a) 个人生命
• 一颗渴慕并切慕神的心，透过与祂积极的沟通而得满足。
• 一颗常常住在祂里面，并时刻觉察祂同在的心。
b) 会众：牧者、理事、细胞小组领袖及各委员会成员
• 一颗寻求祂旨意与方向的心，借着祷告与祂对齐。
• 一颗在遵行祂旨意中充满喜乐，并全然依靠祂的心。
III. 从上头来的智慧以作前瞻性的策划
a) 神的异象临到牧者和各堂会在 LCS 各委员会服事的代表。
b) 神的恩惠临到 LCS 的领导层，使他们在前瞻中得以蒙福。
c) 主的敬畏临到我们心中，引导我们以谦卑和仆人的心来带领。
IV. 在圣灵的果子与恩赐上成长
a) 求圣灵赐能力，使我们在挑战中仍能活出基督的样式。
b) 求圣灵更新并改变我们，使我们按着祂的话语而活。
c) 求圣灵帮助我们成长并发展属灵的恩赐，好更有效地服事祂。
