Items for AUGUST 2024 – JCC
For August 2024, let us all be one in prayer for Jurong Christian Church (JCC).
Please cover JCC in the Prayers of the Church, as well as in your Prayer Meeting, small group meetings, family or personal prayer times.
Pastors have the option to cover the items in a single Sunday or over any number of Sundays for the month. Pastors should also feel free to contact each other for more details and clarifications regarding the items listed, so as to pray with better understanding.

- Looking at 2025: God will pour forth His guidance and wisdom on our leadership as we plan for 2025.
展望 2025 年：在我们规划 2025 年时，上帝将向我们的领导层倾注他的指导和智慧。
- Work of Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit’s active work in transforming JCCians to live a Christ-like life, and to passionately pursue Christ

- Pastoral and Parish Worker Search: God will send a full-time worker for us in our search for pastoral staff

- Change of timing for Sunday School. From 2025, we are looking into changing of the Sunday school timing to run together with our divine service time. Pray that the transition will be smooth and that both adults and their children will benefit from this change.
主日学时间改变 从2025年起，主日学时间的改变，我们正在考虑更改主日学时间，以便与我们的崇拜时间同时进行。祷告过渡顺利，成人及其孩子都能从这一变化中受益。
- The start of a second divine service in 2025. Due to the pressing need, the pastoral team has plans to implement a second Chinese service in JCC. Pray that all planning, coordinating, and resource utilisation will be carefully planned out with minimal disruption to the original divine service.
2025年启动第二个崇拜由于迫切需的要，2025年即将开始第二个中文崇拜。由牧者团负责这项的计划。祷告所有的计划、协调和资源利用都将经过仔细考量，尽量避免对原来早堂运作的干扰。
- Revamped cell group structure. Chinese section’s cell group structure will be revamped to ensure proper training is given to cell group leaders and that all church members are linked to cell groups.
