During a pandemic, the work of the government is to keep people physically alive, and the church’s role is primarily to keep people spiritually alive. Both the church and the government work together to keep body and spirit alive and healthy. For LCS congregations to remain open, congregations have to adjust their worship practices so as not to become a source for the spread of the coronavirus outbreak.
