LCS – ONE IN PRAYER for our church
Items for MAY 2024 – YCCL
For May 2024, let us all be one in prayer for Yishun Christian Church (Lutheran).
Please cover YCCL in the Prayers of the Church, as well as in your Prayer Meeting, small group meetings, family or personal prayer times.
Pastors have the option to cover the items in a single Sunday or over any number of Sundays for the month. Pastors should also feel free to contact each other for more details and clarifications regarding the items listed, so as to pray with better understanding.
YCCL – English congregation
1) The Community Befrienders will continue to reach out to more Yishun community residents in partnership with St. Luke’s Elder Care after receiving the WeCare Grassroots Award. Pray that more will be called to join as befrienders.
2) For a new pastoral staff for Children Ministry.
3) For our Lutheran Child Care Centre (LCCC) : new leadership and renewal process. Also for the outreach efforts to the children of LCCC.
4) Ongoing Alpha Courses – for newer members, BB Primers and Youth to be strengthened in faith. Pray also for the follow up for 2 new converts from Furen International School Renewal Christian Club, and that the Gospel of Mark fortnightly studies via Zoom, will bear forth first fruits of salvation to other students.
YCCL-英文部
1） 我们与圣路加乐龄护理中心合作参与社区做朋友运动，接触更多义顺社区居民。感谢上帝，我们的交友团队被西北选区授予基层WeCare奖。祷告更多的人加入教会的交友事工。
2）祈求神为儿童事工提供新的牧养人员。
3）我们的信义会儿托儿所：新的领导和更新过程。在儿童中也进行了外展活动。
4）为新会友和男少年旅入门和青年提供的持续启发课程来加强他们的信仰。跟进辅仁国际学校基督教俱乐部的两名决志者，因为他们已经开始每两周一次的 Zoom 学习马可福音。祈求研读能结出救恩的初熟果子。
YCCL = Dialect congregation
1. Pray for Rev David Ng as he currently serves as Pastor-in-Charge of the Dialect and Chinese services. He is also the LCS Exco Representative in charge of the outreach committee.
2. Pray for the elderly members and our leaders who help us to minister to them.
3. Our TV Stars Outreach in September where 方钟桦will come to share his testimony.

1）为黄德成牧师祷告，因为他目前同时担任方言部和中文部的主理牧师。他也是信义会总会执行委员会华文部教牧代表，负责拓展部工作。
2）为年长的会友和服事的领袖们祷告。
3） 我们在九月的电视明星见证会，方钟桦弟兄将来分享他的见证。
YCCL – Chinese congregation
1. Financial burden- extraordinary church maintenance cost to replace the aged lifts.
2. Our ministry focus is on evangelistic outreach, we will run several outreach programs, including the Alpha course.
3. Welcome to our new Preacher, Sis. Chew Lee Kim who will join our pastoral ministry in July.

1） 经济负担 – 更换老旧电梯及教堂维护费用非常高。
2）我们今年的事工重点是布道工作，我们将举办几个布道会，包括启发课程。
3） 欢迎我们的新传道周丽金姐妹，她将于七 月加入我们的牧养团队。
