Items for OCTOBER 2025 – QLC and LCS
Thank you all for your prayers. Let us continue to be one in prayer for our congregations as well as for the LCS, under which we are one church.
Please cover QLC and LCS in the Prayers of the Church, as well as in your Prayer Meetings and small group meetings. Do encourage your members to pray for them during their family or personal prayer times.
Pastors have the option to cover the items summarily, in a single Sunday or over any number of Sundays for the month. Pastors should also feel free to contact each other for more details and clarifications regarding the items listed, so as to pray with better understanding.

Prayer pointers for QLC
English Ministries / 英文部
- Pray that as members worship and serve together in community, they will continue to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace, learning to love one another as Christ has loved us.
- For the Lord to grant wisdom, discernment, and joy to our pastors and leaders as they enter this season of ministry planning, that every decision will be guided by the Spirit and aligned with God’s will.
- That QLC will remain Christ-centered in all our ministries and outreach activities loving God – keeping His love, His cross, and His glory at the heart of all we do and loving others – welcoming, accepting and loving one another.
1. 祷告会友在敬拜与服事中彼此连结时，能竭力保守圣灵所赐合一的心，在平安中彼此相爱，学习像基督爱我们那样去爱彼此。
2. 求主赐智慧、辨别的能力与喜乐给我们的牧者和领袖们，在这个事工规划的季节中，每一个决策都能被圣灵引导，并与神的旨意一致
3. 求主在女皇镇信义会在所有事工与外展活动中持续以基督为中心——爱神，把祂的爱、十字架与荣耀放在我们所做一切的核心；也爱人，彼此接纳、彼此相爱。

- Pray that members will develop a deep passion and burden for lost souls—that they will be responsive to evangelism and actively seek opportunities to reach out to those who have yet to know Christ.
- Pray for the follow-up efforts—that the follow-up plan will be carried out faithfully, and that God will raise up more members to take a step of faith to become befrienders. May they commit to journeying with visitors, helping them integrate into church life and find a place in a CG.
- Pray that God will stir more members to serve—that they may step out of their comfort zones with a willing heart to serve in various ministries.
- 祈求神点燃会友对失丧灵魂深切的热情与负担——让他们积极响应福音的呼召，主动寻找机会向还未认识基督的人伸出援手。
- 为跟进与关怀工作代祷——祈求神让跟进与造就的事工策划能按地执行，求神兴起更多会友凭信心起来担任陪谈员工作。让他们立志陪伴新朋友同行，帮助他们融入教会生活，找到合适的关怀小组。
- 祈求神激励更多会友参与服侍——让他们以甘心乐意的心踏出自己的舒适圈，愿意在各项事工中服事。
LCS – Prayer Pointers
1. Wisdom from Jesus for all Pastors, Council members, and Ministry Leaders as we plan for 2026.
2. God to raise leaders, council members, and ministry leaders who fear His holy name and walk in His ways, leading the church forward faithfully.
3. The Holy Spirit’s empowerment for all of us to carry out His Kingdom work in the church.
4. Stewardship Month 2025 – Pray that God will move the hearts of all believers to serve Him passionately, and to give their offerings, tithes, and pledges cheerfully for the work of His Kingdom.
5. Our new LCS Head Office Manager, Brother Gabriel Yuen, as he begins his new role at LCS HQ. We also thank Sister Sally Kee for her many contributions in shaping the LCS office.
6. Pray for our International Lutheran Seafarers Mission (ILSM)
A. Thanksgiving – for a new worker in the mission field to boost effectiveness in the mission.
B. Pray for favourable weather for this season so that mission workers can continue working in safety .
C. Pray for good harvest – there are 1200 ships coming in and out of our ports per month but not all will be opened for us to visit their ships and crew.
D. Pray for all current and future volunteers to have a steadfast spirit – so nothing can take them away from the mission & for them to experience mission work.
E. Pray for the Acts 2: 42-47 vision of fellowship with all church partners – brothers & sisters in Christ, regardless of denomination, undivided in serving.
F. Pray for these seafarers:
– Deck cadet Roolan career progression and family.
– Able Seaman Alvin’s work and safety.
– Able Seaman Cruz’s stable income.
– Able Seaman Khor his family and safety at work.
祷告焦点：LCS – 十月份
1. 当我们为2026年作计划时，求主赐给所有牧者、执事会成员和事工领袖聪明与智慧。
2. 求神兴起一群敬畏祂的圣名，行走在祂的道路上，牧者、执事会成员和事工领袖，忠心带领教会向前。
3. 求圣灵加添力量给我们每一位在教会中完成祂国度的事工。
4. 2025 年受托月 — 求神感动众信徒的心，使他们热信事奉祂，并且甘心乐意地为拓展祂国度而作奉献、十一奉献和认献。
5. 为总会新上任的办公室经理袁耀昌(Gabriel Yuen)弟兄祷告，让他能很快上手。我们也谢谢林雪莉(sally Kee)姐妹为办公室事工带来的诸多贡献。
6. 为国际信义会海员事工(ILSM)代祷：
A. 感恩 —— 为新同工加入工场，增强事工的成效而感谢主。
B. 天气 —— 求主赐下良好的天气，使同工能够在安全环境下继续服事。
C. 丰收 —— 每月约有 1,200 艘船舶进出港口，但并非所有船舶都愿意开放，让我们能探访他们的船舶并 与海员接触。
D. 志愿者 —— 求神赐给现有和未来的志愿者坚定的心志，不被任何事物动摇，并在服事中有美好的宣教体验。
E. 同心合一 —— 求主使各个教会，在基督里的弟兄姐妹们，能按使徒行传 2:42–47 的异象彼此配搭，不分宗派，同心服事。
F. 请为这几位海员代祷：
• 甲板实习生 Roolan的职业发展与家庭。
• 海员 Alvin的工作与安全。
• 海员 Cruz能有收入稳定。
• 海员Khor的家庭与工作安全。
