To extend Christian love by ministering to the spiritual and practical needs of seafarers. We offer a warm welcome, a helping hand and friendship to seafarers from around the world who enter the ports of Singapore.

As a Christian agency we care for the welfare of seafarers of all nationalities and faiths to provide help and support. We reach out to seamen and fishermen by visiting them on their ships, offering them the hand of welcome and friendship, and caring for them in their hour of need.

On our daily ships visit it’s always a pleasure to talk to seafarers from all over the world. So we have a great opportunity to spread the Good News: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” (Matthew 28.19).

Sometimes on our daily ship visits we are really shocked about the bad living and working conditions of seafarers and fishermen on board. They are facing various dangers in an often merciless working environment, including piracy. It is truly one of the most dangerous jobs in the world.

We know about our restricted possibilities. So we are very thankfully about any kind of support from our church members. We and the seafarers need also your attention, your blessings and your prayers. In life, in death, in life beyond death God is with us. Thanks to God.

Pray for the hard-working seafarers and fishermen at open sea who spend months at sea, isolated and far from home missed by their families, beloved ones and friends. Pray that our Lord will open their hearts and minds to receive Christ’s gospel.
